Tensile fabric signage for Borough Market, London

This is an advertising sign for the new Borough Market extension. We formfound, designed and detailed the tensile fabric to withstand wind loads that travel through the perforated glazed facade.

We determined the geometry from a site survey and applied this to our computer modelling so that we could specify the exact setting out for the supporting steelwork and fabric manufacture.

Our details were developed in close collaboration with the main contractor and the specialist fabric fabricator. This was to ensure they would perform as required structurally, following the existing facade perfectly and connect to the existing steelwork.
