Tyte Tap, Oxfordshire

This project is still under construction so we will update the images soon.

Tyte Tap is a new build home comprised of two pitch roof steel framed buildings with cavity external walls with rough honed local stone. The main building houses the living areas with one whole facade full glazed from floor to ceiling looking out to the garden. The two volumes are connected by a glazed link.

The structure is created using a lightweight steel frame, facilitated by the columns being bolted down to reinforced concrete foundations. This system has facilitated fast construction and a completely open-plan layout.
