Jago joined StructureMode in 2016 and has 6 years experience in designing buildings all over the world and at all scales, from 50-storey towers to metro stations to temporary pavilions. From 2014 to 2016 Jago worked in Tacloban as part of the post-Typhoon Haiyan reconstruction effort, leading the architectural and engineering design of a school and orphanage. His key interests are in the overlap between architecture and engineering.
In 2016 Jago hosted the Learning from Tacloban knowledge-sharing workshop in Tacloban, attended by the Institute of Migration, International Federation of the Red Cross, Catholic Relief Services, local and national government, and private sector organisations. Jago has presented or run workshops at the Hong Kong & Shenzhen Bi-City Biennale of Architecture & Urbanism, the Architectural Association, the University of Philippines School of Urban and Regional Planning, the United Architects of the Philippines, and the Philippines Association of Landscape Architects. He has also been a guest juror at the University of East London School of Architecture and the Hong Kong University School of Architecture, and a mentor at the UCL Department of Civil Engineering.
Jago also enjoys photography, cycling and tennis.
